Farayi Malek, a Grammy-nominated vocalist with Danilo Pérez’s Global Messengers, is now returning to her musical roots with a debut solo project. Raised in a small town in Southern Idaho, Farayi blends the diverse influences of gospel, American folk, blues, and jazz into her unique sound.
Jazz in the Park with Samuel Batista Quintet
Panamanian saxophonist Samuel Batista explores cultures and soundscapes through improvisation and structured arrangements. Graduated from Berklee, Batista has taught at The New England Conservatory and performed at venues such as Montreal Jazz Festival, Kriol Jazz Festival and Carnegie Hall. His album, Panama United, debuted at the Panama Jazz Festival.

Join us on Wednesday, April 2nd from 5:30-6:30 for Celebrity Bartender to benefit the Greenway Conservancy. Jenny Harding, Assistant General Manager of Faneuil Hall will be slinging drinks throughout the hour to benefit the Rose Kennedy Greenway. The Greenway Conservancy has the sole responsibility for managing all aspects of the space, including horticulture, programming, public art, maintenance and capital improvements. We are excited to continue our collaboration!
