Albino Mbie is an acclaimed musician, singer, guitarist, and composer from Mozambique. Born in Maputo, he crafted his first guitar from scrap materials at age 15. In 2009, Mbie earned a full scholarship to Berklee, graduating with degrees in Music Production, Sound Engineering, and Guitar Performance.

His unique sound blends traditional Mozambican genres like Marrabenta and Chope with jazz harmonies and Afro-pop, creating a captivating musical experience. Mbie’s mission honors African musical traditions while addressing social issues, using performances to inspire community change.

Having shared the stage with jazz legends like Wayne Shorter and African icons like Richard Bona, Mbie showcases African music’s richness globally. With his authentic voice and compelling storytelling, Albino Mbie continues to uplift audiences and make a significant impact in the music world.
